Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Court Bookings System and software-as-a-service platform ("Platform"), operated by Court Bookings ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using our Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Overview of the Service

Court Bookings provides a hosted booking and club-management platform for tennis and other racket-sport clubs. Each club receives its own tenant environment containing tools for user registration, court booking, membership management, optional payment processing, and optional smart switch integration for court lighting.

2. Relationship Between Court Bookings, Clubs, and End Users

2.1 Platform Provider

We provide the software and hosting only. We do not operate, manage, or control any club, its courts, facilities, memberships, pricing, scheduling, or policies.

2.2 Club Responsibilities

Each club ("Club") is fully responsible for:

• How they use the Platform
• The accuracy of information they publish
• Their own rules, waivers, terms, and policies
• Membership decisions and dispute handling
• Payments and refunds
• The safety and management of their facilities, including smart-switch lighting systems and physical access

2.3 End User Relationship

End Users acknowledge that their primary relationship is with their Club. Court Bookings is not responsible for club rules, decisions, cancellations, or membership actions.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for maintaining the security of your login credentials. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Payments

Some Clubs may enable payments through the Platform. Payment amounts, policies, and disputes are managed entirely by the Club. Court Bookings is not responsible for Club pricing, refunds, or financial decisions.

5. Smart Switch and Lighting Integration

Some Clubs may enable smart-switch integration to control court lighting. Court Bookings provides this integration “as is” and is not liable for issues arising from hardware failures, Internet outages, misconfiguration, power interruptions, or any safety incidents at club facilities.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for unlawful, abusive, or fraudulent activities
• Attempt unauthorized access to other tenants or systems
• Interfere with the operation or security of the Platform
• Upload malware or malicious code
• Harass, abuse, or harm other users or Clubs

7. Intellectual Property

All Platform software, features, branding, and design remain the intellectual property of Court Bookings. Clubs retain ownership of content they upload to their tenant.

8. Service Availability and Updates

We aim to maintain reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime. We may update, modify, or temporarily suspend features to maintain or improve the Platform.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Court Bookings is not liable for:

• Club decisions, behaviour, or facility conditions
• Injuries or incidents occurring at Clubs
• Lighting or smart-switch failures
• Power, network, or hardware outages
• Losses resulting from incorrect Club configuration or inaccurate information published by a Club

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Court Bookings harmless from claims arising from your misuse of the Platform or disputes between you and the Club.

11. Modifications to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Updated versions will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the platform indicates acceptance of changes
